Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a 1st Shift Order Picker Operator, you'll follow established processes to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Core duties include picking products using advanced material handling equipment like order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders. You'll perform quality control checks, pack items securely, and prepare shipments for on-time delivery. Expect cross-training across multiple warehouse areas, participation in improvement projects, and maintaining inventory accuracy through housekeeping and control tasks. Safety is paramount—we provide all necessary certifications and prioritize a clean, hazard-free workspace.

Daily Operations

Your shift involves standing, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet and in refrigerated areas (36°F-42°F) for up to 10+ hours is essential. Strong adaptability to changing priorities and clear communication keep our operations running smoothly.

• Ability to follow directions and adapt to shifting priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Tech-savviness with computers or POS systems is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
