The 2026 Summer Intern: Field Sales position offers nationwide opportunities in select states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, and WY. Based in Purchase, New York, this internship immerses you in a demanding environment where growth means opportunity and fun meets challenge. Lead a team of 8-10 sales reps, spearhead a $10-15 million business, and accelerate toward sales leadership—all within your summer program. Ideal for self-starters pursuing degrees in Management, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Entrepreneurship, or Professional Selling.
As a Field Sales Intern, you'll dive into hands-on sales leadership. Own customer-facing projects directly linked to PepsiCo's performance, mastering fact-based selling and exceptional service. Demonstrate leadership by coaching frontline associates, leading meetings with executives, peers, customers, and teams to meet sales metrics. Use creativity to grow volume and revenue, interact with customers to execute programs, collect and analyze data, and deliver compelling presentations. Activate promotions to boost brand performance in a physical role involving standing, walking, reaching, and squatting.
Past interns have introduced new products to large and small retailers, owning strategy from pitch to in-store execution. Others assessed sales practices, trained associates on efficiency methods, and drove measurable improvements—all building functional sales expertise.
