These instruments and devices include leak detectors, pressure gages, thermometers, psychrometers, velometers, and similar devices.Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions. Making repairs or adjustments to existing components and possessing capability to identify replacement or substitute components.Maintaining control logic program design and modifications to 3M building HVAC Unit controls.Completing the required shop paperwork and using the reporting system following established procedures. This includes Daily Work Records, P.M. Route Sheets, Stock Withdrawal forms and other forms and records that may be required in the performance of the job or operation of the department.Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Associate degree or certification in two-year program in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (completed and verified prior to start)Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Craft area within the past seven (7) yearsUniversal Refrigeration CertificationPossess a current and valid Driver’s LicenseAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Knowledge of operating principles of mechanical and electromechanical components used in the measurement and control of temperature, humidity, and air flowA demonstrated mechanical backgroundPay & Benefits: The starting rate of pay for this position is $45.75.
