Here, you will make an impact by:Authoring/maintaining Safety Data Sheets & labels for R&D samples, intermediates, & productsManaging customer inquiries related to product regulatory complianceManaging complex regulatory projectsLeading the division in raw material coordinationManaging and gathering raw material data and updating records associated with raw material changesCoordinating updates for label artwork with the design teamsFacilitating the collection of regulatory data from cross functional teamsAssisting with tasks associated with new product introduction such as SKU setup, regulatory assessments, and collection of regulatory data from raw material suppliersOther duties as assignedYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Three (3) years of experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Assessment, or Life Cycle Assessment in a private, public, government or military environment in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or another technical field from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of product stewardship experience in a private, public, government or military environmentGood knowledge of hazard communication requirements and other global chemical regulations (e.g., OSHA, REACH, TSCA, VOC, GADSL, GHS)Experience with systems/business processes relevant to regulatory or product responsibility (e.g. Chemical Data Management System (CDMS), Global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Life Cycle Management System (LCMS))Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Project management experienceHigh attention to detail, willingness to take ownership and drive resultsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 5% domesticRelocation: Maybe authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
