We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Aftersales Service & Repair Leader to lead and accelerate our service and repair operations worldwide.This role reports directly to the President of the Personal Safety Division, supporting a $3.5B global business with 14 manufacturing sites and 10 product categories. The leader will own the P&L for global service and repair operations, driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across geographies. Key Responsibilities:Global Strategy & OperationsDevelop and execute a global aftersales service and repair strategy aligned with Division goalsStandardize service operations, KPIs, and repair processes across all geographiesExpand and lead 3M PSD’s global service network (internal and 3rd-party)Optimize tools, systems (e.g. CRM, service software), and documentation to support global service and repair deliveryP&L OwnershipOwn the global service and repair P&L, including revenue, cost management, and margin optimizationDevelop and execute pricing strategies, service agreements, and commercial modelsDrive profitable growth through operational efficiency and value-added service offeringsCustomer ExperienceDrive high customer satisfaction through fast, effective service and repairsImplement voice-of-the-customer (VoC) feedback loops to continuously improve service performanceManage escalation processes for complex or critical service issuesLeadership & CollaborationLead, coach, and develop Area service managers and teamsPartner with product, engineering, sales, and supply chain to ensure cross-functional alignmentEnsure the service teams follow safety guidelines to reduce the risks of injuries at workYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations (completed and verified prior to start) Ten (10) years of proven leadership of international, multicultural teamsin a private, public, government or military environmentTen (10) years of experience with service agreements, warranties, and 3rd-party service partnershipsTen (10) years of demonstrated strong financial acumen and experience managing P&LAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master’s or MBA degree preferredExcellent communication and change management skillsAnalytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisionsBackground in PPE products, medical devices, electronics, industrial equipment, or capital goodsLean/Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement trainingExperience with ISO 9001, FDA, or other regulated environments (if applicable)Work location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/internationalRelocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
