Here, you will make an impact by:Verifies and documents in-process inspections for conformance to specifications.Visually inspects at various operating steps/operations for product/material defects and that the product is properly identified to maintain traceability.Read measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, protractors, and etc.) and core print, face cores, turn outside diameter, bore holes, select and sharpen tools, change parts on the CNC machineYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)Work 1st Shift (6AM – 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday), ability to work on weekends, working overtime, rotating shifts, and/or short notice shift coverageMust possess basic computer skillsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and basic mathematical calculations.Requires production and inspection experience to perform duties.
