Here, you will make an impact by:Troubleshoot/repair mechanical equipment and components, hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment, web handling systems, pumps, etc.Implement and improve preventive maintenance proceduresDetermines parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the jobsImplement PM procedures minimizing down timeSupporting management with scrutiny of all maintenance spending and proper parts inventoryEnsure all machine tool equipment is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specificationsYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess a Two (2) year Technical Degree/Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a Mechanical Discipline from an accredited institutionORBe in the last six months of completing an associate’s degree (verified prior to start) in a technical discipline such as, Electro-Mechanics, Mechatronics Technology, Automation Controls/SCADA, Robotics, Machinist, Automotive, Diesel Mechanic, Wind Energy Tech AND one (1) year of Industrial Maintenance experienceANDInterested and available to work 12-hour shifts on days or 12-hours shifts on nights, depending on availability.
