Here, you will make an impact by:Providing technical expertise for Network Access Control (NAC) InfrastructureProviding NAC performance and load testing and upgradesDevelop NAC policies in alignment with business and security requirementsNAC Deployment to sites around the worldNAC Infrastructure ImplementationPerform support operations, with a schedule that may involve nontraditional working hoursContribute to overall NAC process improvements and documentationResponsible for the operation, performance, availability, and capacity of the network access control (NAC)Expand existing NAC solution capabilities, ensuring consistency across all regions of the world.Collaborate with team members as well as other business functions, business partners, management, vendors, and external parties for information gathering and best practice recommendationsWork with a globally distributed team and rely heavily on electronic communicationYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).Five (5) years of information security experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience with Network Access ControlExperience in architecting, implementing, and managing NAC technologies.Experience in networking design and concepts to include TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, virtual route forwarding, and VLANs.Strong understanding of network security productsExperience administering Linux Operating SystemsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) constructsStrong analytical skillsWorking knowledge of secure communication methodsProgramming and/or scripting skillsIndustry-adopted security certification (e.g. CISSP, CCNA, etc)Strong IT infrastructure implementation, support and troubleshooting backgroundWork Location: On-site Maplewood, MN 3M Center CampusMaplewood, MNTravel: May include up to 15% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
