Developing and driving division marketing strategies and sales growth, along with gaining shelf conversions while aligning to end user opportunities, are keys to success. Here, you will make an impact by:Grow 3M business with key distribution partners in assigned geographyDeliver the 3M EMD Brand Promise to distributionUse analytic and category management skills to Identify, influence, and manage new sales and conversion opportunities in the ChannelReport and manage product stock levels and new product stock suggestions to generate ordersConduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key accounts/executivesIdentify and develop marketing and promotional activitiesBuild relationships with new and existing stakeholders to increase salesCommunicate, present, and sell local and national promotions to multiple stakeholdersCoordinate and implement events, training, and merchandising sales plansManage contracts and RFQ’sConduct multiple weekly Authorized Distributor branch visitsTraining distributor counter and sales personnelWorks in a team of Commercial & Industrial sales professionals and partner 3M divisionsCompany VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment. ORHigh school diploma/ GED and five (5) years of sales experience in the electrical, construction or industrial market experience in a private, public, government or military environment. ​ANDCurrent, valid Driver’s License. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Minimum two (2) years of experience in sales or marketingMinimum four (4) years of distribution sales/marketing and/or management experienceExperience with analytics, fact-based selling, category managementDemonstrated experience communicating cross functionally and to all levels in an organization.Skilled as proficient at prioritizing and managing many projects simultaneously.Aptitude to understand multiple product linesManagement of multiple segments and marketing channels within distributionSolid negotiating and selling skillsPrevious experience calling on strategic accounts or influencing/building account support base.
