Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:Support for Finance Business Partners and Plant Controllers in other 3M locations to report and analyze key metrics including revenue, cost, margins etc. The successful individual will provide a very good level of customer service and work well within a team.Duties and responsibilities:Performing the month end close process from Business Accounting perspective, including data gathering, consolidation and review of margins, revenue and costs by country or business groupsDriving the preparation of revenue and cost accruals/deferralsSummarizing all findings for Controllers to support discussions with the businessCreation and analysis of business casesSupporting one business unit (or multiple divisions) through delivery of effective management informationProduction and/or coordination of monthly business review packsProviding insight of financial performance through accurate, timely and relevant reportingInterpretation and clear communication of results, reports and analysisContinuous review and improvement of management informationRaising queries to Finance colleagues based on analysis and insights into Management InformationPerforming ad hoc tasks and reporting related to business accounting requested by line or functional managerEducation and experience:General and business/management accounting knowledge is desiredGood understanding of financial processesBachelor's degree in finance/accountingMin 2 years of relevant working experienceGood knowledge of financial statementsExperience in Financial SSC/GSC or working in international environmentKnowledge and skills:Good team player working towards common group targets but also leading initiativesHigh standard of verbal and written communications skills in EnglishMust have a very good analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department teamMust be a results-oriented professional with good problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAssured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plusGood MS Excel & PowerPoint skillsKnowledge of finance systems & tools is an advantage (SAP FI/CO, PeopleSoft, BIBW, BPC, QlikView)Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
