Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, performance, and continuous improvementMaintaining Close Stakeholder Alignment and EngagementDevelop and execute communication and risk management plans that ensure visibility, transparency, and proactive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders, including business/marketing, laboratory, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and supply chain.Building Networks and Leveraging Global ResourcesCultivate strong partnerships and networks within ASD, across 3M, and with external suppliers and customers to accelerate delivery of differentiated solutions to the market.Mentoring and Developing OthersServe as a mentor and coach to team members and peers—sharing best practices in project leadership, NPI processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Champion project management excellence through training and knowledge sharing.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).Eight (8) years of manufacturing, product engineering, and/or product development experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Three (3) years of experience in project leadership.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of project management and/or PMP CertificationExperience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologiesKnowledge of the 3M Grow NPI framework and softwareExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of six sigma methodologies and toolsExperience leading teams and systems for continuous improvementWork location: On-site, 4-days a weekMaplewood, MNJob Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 4 days per weekTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/international travelRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
