The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining HVAC systems, compressors, chillers, RO plants, DG sets, and other utilities, with a focus on reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for utility equipment including:Chillers, Air Compressors, Diesel Generators (DG)Air Handling Units (AHU), HVAC SystemsRO Water Treatment Plants, Fire Hydrant SystemsEnsure compliance with statutory norms (Factory Act), including pressure vessel and hoist testing.Manage and coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and project execution.Identify root causes of major breakdowns and implement corrective actions.Prepare, update, and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) checklists and annual schedules.Ensure adherence to safety systems such as LOTO, machine guarding, and work permit systems (hot work, confined space, height, etc.).Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 guidelines.Key Skills & Competencies:Utility Systems Maintenance (Chillers, HVAC, RO, DG)Predictive Maintenance Tools (Vibration Analysis, Ferrography)Engineering Compliance & Factory Act AwarenessContractor & Vendor ManagementSafety Systems & Work Permit ComplianceStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysisISO/IMS Systems ImplementationWork Environment:Industrial / Manufacturing Plant setupRole requires physical presence and hands-on maintenance workAbility to manage shift-based operations and emergency breakdownsExperience: 3+ YearsQualification: Equal or above secondary vocational education--Mechanical EngineeringLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.Safety is a core value at 3M.
