We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. In this role, you will work with the Engineering Productivity Team in India with a focus on delivering productivity platforms and artifacts for a global silicon software team. You will focus on a wide aperture of software development problems from front end to back end and infrastructure development for high availability services.

Responsibilities
- Design of creative solutions to complex problems, write organized, clean and maintainable code with minimal assistance.
- Build innovative solutions for Engineering productivity software components with focus on scale, high availability, quality and usage of Google Infrastructure.
- Build systems to simplify the setup and maintenance of CI and code coverage.
- Improve development efficiency across the silicon organization and possibly Google-wide through tooling improvements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development process and influence technical decisions.
