As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities
- Work on ambient related areas that are foundational for Aura as part of the AirStream team.
- Build capabilities in production that allow for the seamless and performant interaction between on-device, cloud LLMs or LLMs in a private environment.
- Lead the productionization of horizontal technology by building the necessary infrastructure and pathways. Manage customer onboarding, and own the upstreaming of user feedback and data back to AI Innovation and Research (AIR) and Google DeepMind (GDM) teams for Hybrid, in context learning, Nano and Private Inference.
- Lead the productionization of architecture that seamlessly spans devices and servers, while remaining adaptable to various compute and power capabilities.
