Google Cloud Storage (GCS) provides planet scale, object storage service for external Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers and internal large-scale Google products like GMail, Photos, Drive, and YouTube. Security and compliance of this critical service are paramount, as customers entrust Google with their most sensitive data. The GCS Security and Compliance team is responsible for developing and implementing the security architecture, policies, and controls that ensure customer data is protected and that the service adheres to a wide range of global regulatory and industry standards. This includes everything from data encryption and access management to continuous monitoring and auditing.

Responsibilities
Lead a software engineering team across 2 sites (Hyderabad, Seattle) and oversee a portfolio of GCS products and components.
Work cross-functionally within the broader engineering community and product management to deliver solutions for our customers.
Partner closely with cross-functional leads to define the future vision, strategy, and solutions for GCS and Google Storage.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Google, including senior leaders within Cloud to influence management offerings. Contribute to the long-term strategy and innovation of Google Cloud Storage and infrastructure.
Be a strategic thought leader and work closely with customer-facing Googlers, partners, and customers themselves to ensure we continue to meaningfully reduce friction and drive adoption.
