You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations from the Indian regulators, driving reviews, enforcement efforts, and drafting final regulatory responses.
Engage with regulators on emerging topics and act as the bridge to align Google's strategy with regulatory expectations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement policies and processes for compliance across Google’s operations in India.
Identify and evaluate emerging legal risks based on regulator discussions. Lead the effort to track and map all regulatory advisories and due diligence obligations to platform policies, presenting findings to functional leadership.
Lead critical internal projects and ensure documentation, including MoMs, writing leadership briefs, and preparing strategic decks for alignment. Participate in non-standard working hours and travel as needed.
