Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field (degree)
  • 5+ years of overall experience (experience)
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience in audio software systems (experience)
  • Experience in Android or Linux audio stack development (experience)
  • Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases (experience)
  • Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines (experience)
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (degree)
  • Experience with DSP in the audio domain (experience)
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams (experience)
  • Experience with audio-related software features across all layers of the audio stack (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop and debug audio features on Android systems
  • Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions
  • Develop system software for a variety of wearable consumer devices
  • Develop clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize and get things done with a high level of efficiency
  • Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving
