As a Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager, you will lead a team of Inventory & Asset Management technicians responsible for inbound/outbound logistics tasks, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities. You will guide your employees to effectively run warranty processes and data bearing device (DBD) destruction. This opportunity will allow you to model leadership principles, drive focus on accurately and efficiently completing Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks, and work with stakeholders to manage escalations as they arise. Responsibilities
Leads a team of technicians responsible for inbound/outbound logistics tasks, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities.

Runs daily safety topic huddles and manages escalated task risks.
Supports the planning, management, and communication of end-to-end project plans.
Ensures inbound and outbound measuring processes are running smoothly.
Provides support guidance to third-party personnel for material movement and inventory audits.
Drives the direction for handling high-level escalations in warranty processes.
Ensures all data bearing devices (DBDs) are destroyed and coordinates with third-party vendors.
Provides thought leadership on procurement methodologies and monitors outcomes.
Processes price and procurement requests for server, network, and storage requirements.
Serves as subject matter expert and models compliance to team members.
