The Azure Fiber team in Romsey, Hampshire, is seeking dynamic candidates with energy and a passion for innovation to join our team. You will be working on fabrication technologies for radically novel optical fibers, including glass preform manufacture, optical fiber drawing and associated processes. The role will involve close interaction with the engineering team to take new fabrication methods for next generation fibers and turn them into robust and reliable processes that can be successfully transferred into volume manufacture by the production team. Additionally, you will be required to support the scaling up of the new fabrication facility to meet customer demand and company ambition. As such, this role involves hands-on work in our state of the art Romsey facility five days a week.
