Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in security program or program management or related field OR equivalent experience. (degree)

- 5+ years of documented close protection experience with a proven track record of success in driving business outcomes. (degree)
- Current passport and driver’s license. (degree)
- Eligibility to obtain a California Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permit, California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Guard License, and California BSIS Firearm Permit. (degree)
- Ability to pass biannual armed guard/firearms qualification. (degree)
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. - Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification. (degree)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED)/First Aid certification. (degree)

Responsibilities

- Provide close protection and other security-related functions for Microsoft executive designates.
- Develop and implement complete security and logistical plans for domestic and international travel.
- Act as the primary or support driver for vehicle movements; skillfully employing evasive and defensive driving skills to ensure safe vehicle movements. Responsible also for vehicle safety and basic maintenance, assuring its safe operation and clean presentation.
- Manage security suppliers in operational support capacities to ensure mission objectives are being met, including quality of service, delivery, pricing, reporting and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with executive teams and public and private sector partners as part of EPS’s overall strategic plan. This position has regular contact with all levels of Microsoft executives, managers, employees, local and federal law enforcement agencies, temporary agencies, and Microsoft suppliers.
