Responsibilities
Conduct supply audits to ensure compliance with Microsoft's quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Evaluate and approve supplier manufacturing processes, test protocols/ scripts, and quality control procedures for mechanical equipment
Monitor supplier performance using data-driven KPIs and collaborate with suppliers to address deviations and implement corrective actions.
Review supplier provided documentation, including test reports and inspection records, to ensure product quality and traceability
Leads part qualification processes through implementation of product quality plans and equipment inspections
Drive factory acceptance testing (FAT), factory witness testing (FWT), and in process inspections to verify equipment performance against design specifications and standards
Collaborate with suppliers to improve testing methodologies, and product quality to ensure consistency and quality outcomes
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts for supplier related quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of reoccurrence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers enhanced product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and delivery performance
Collaborating with stakeholders (e.g. supply chain, engineering, construction, vendors, etc.) to align supplier quality expectations with project requirements
