Job Description

Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande is seeking High School students interested in manufacturing for our 2026 Apprenticeship Program.

The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.

The Opportunity 

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On

  • Rotate throughout ten (10) three-to-four-week assignments in workstations to learn basic job responsibilities, area Good Manufacturing Practices and perform tasks assigned according to Abbott Nutrition policy and procedures.

  • Communicate and report out learnings at mid-point and assignment end

  • Attend developmental course as identified

  • Meet with Technical Training mentor monthly

Departments include:

  • Tetra (Casepacker / GMP)

  • Powder (Casepacker / GMP)

  • RPB (Casepacker / GMP)

  • Microbiology Lab

  • Engineering

  • Stockroom

  • Processing

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Senior

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic performance (GPA = 3.0/4.0)

  • Exceptionally demonstrated interpersonal skills

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

The base pay for this position is $15.80 – $31.60 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
