Primary Job Function:

• To ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and Abbott EHS standards & statutory compliance such as renewal of factory license, PCB consent & fire NOC etc.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and policies.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

• Oversee waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of operations.

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness.

• Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, including training, inspections, incident reports, and regulatory submissions.

• To proposed & monitor various energy & water saving projects.

• To manage the operation of the ESTP for effective and compliant wastewater treatment.

Minimum Education:

• Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, Advanced Diploma in Environment Engineering, MBA in Fire & Safety

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

• 14.5 Years
