The Opportunity

As the Regional IT Senior Manager – PBR Lead, you will be the key point of contact for all IT matters across multiple strategic countries and divisions. You will lead the Regional IT Council, manage IT delivery and integration, and ensure alignment with Abbott’s global IT strategy. This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with IT solutions, ensuring seamless operations and strategic support across the region.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage regional IT operations across multiple countries and divisions

• Chair the Regional IT Council and align IT strategies with business goals

• Deliver and support IT solutions including applications and infrastructure

• Manage business relationship and portfolio planning, demand intake, and prioritization

• Ensure compliance with IT quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards

• Act as liaison between business units and IT, supporting strategic decision-making

• Oversee IT audits, budget planning, and internal/external customer support

• Coordinate integration activities and ensure smooth transitions into BTS

• Develop documentation, training, and support materials for end users

Required Qualifications

• Degree in IT or a related business discipline; MBA is a plus

• 10–15 years of experience in IT, preferably in the healthcare industry

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Technical expertise in business systems, ERP, LAN/WAN, cybersecurity, and infrastructure

• Experience in project management and commercial standard processes

• Fluency in English and one local language; additional languages are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven leadership in regional or global IT roles

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex portfolios

• Familiarity with regulatory environments and audit compliance
