Primary Job Function

• Lead test method development & study program on nutrients test method or contaminant test method
• Liaison with affiliates and external partners to drive impactful innovation in analytical methods
• Liaison with RA,PD and project managers to ensure test methodology&timeline meet RA requirement for product registration,importation in China
• Lead method transfer /technical exchange to 3rd TPLs or JX plant .
• Trouble shooting support to JX lab& oversea plant
• Identify the area of method innovation&advancement and promote the method standardization internally and externally.
• Identify and build the capability to support business objective
• Technology support to fix the method issue from QA, R&D or supply chain
• Support QA on technical audit&approval of 3rd TPLs in China
• Management of lab processed required  to compliance with  CNAS requirement& related regulator requirement.
• Technical Liaison with third party lab to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Core Job Responsibilities

• GB and SAMR method :assess the impact on products.Organize the method study to improve the method performance to avoid test risk in our products,especially for some special matrices of FSMP products. Provide predict funding and duration time needed to manager.
• Proactive participate in GB or AOAC method development projects with government experts.
• Management general technician documents/SOPs (method validation, uncertainty, etc) ,update related documents/SOPs according to regulator changing and arrange training accordingly.
• Develop new nutrients test method according to Business objective , complete full method validation and conduct method transfer to JX lab or related 3rd TPLs to support new product launch on time
• Method development per PD innovation&formula development projects, test support for PD formula development period if needed
• Quickly response to issue from QA, RD ,Supply chain:identify if it is real test issue and fix the test problem in time
• Prepare,review and manage analytical documents to meet RA product registration requirement, follow up stability test progress in TPLs and provide technical instruction to TPLs . 

Minimum Education

• Master or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Science (emphasis in analysis) required

Minimum Experience/Training Required

• Min.3 years experience in food analysis
• Breadth of experience with analytical instrument: HPLC,GC,HPAEC,LCMS,GCMS,ICPMS,etc
• Good communication skill is preferred
• Familiar with GB standards related to infant formula and FSMP is preferred
• Have knowledge of data integrity is preferred
• Knowledge of Regulation for foods and food safety in China
• Fluent in English
