Job Description

Abbott is looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Core Diagnostics team in the Nordics.

Abbott’s Core Diagnostics develops laboratory solutions that support accurate and timely clinical decision-making. Its technologies are used in hospitals and labs worldwide to improve patient care.

About the Role:

As a Technical Service Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our diagnostic instruments operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) on diagnostic equipment.
  • Executing hardware and software upgrades (TSBs).
  • Delivering first-line technical support in accordance with service agreements.
  • Assisting with instrument installations and deinstallations.
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction and contributing to economic growth in your district.
  • Traveling within your designated service area.

Your Profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred fields: medical, electrical, mechanical, or automation.
  • A proven track record in a similar technical role in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with lab staff.
  • Expertise in analytical tools, software, and general computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
