Our team develops and applies analytical methods to ensure drug substance and product quality throughout all stages of development and manufacturing. We are seeking a highly motivated Co-Op to join the Analytical Characterization Group (ACG) within the Analytical Development Department. ACG focuses on providing routine, investigative, and in-depth characterization analyses of AbbVie’s biologics to support product and process development for early-phase, late-phase, and commercial programs using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS), spectroscopy and various other biophysical assays.Key Responsibilities Include:Build and validate targeted mass spectrometry assays for small molecules in cell culture media.Establish and document targeted LC-MS workflows and a metabolite library.Optimize, organize, and analyze experimental data for process monitoring and troubleshooting.Work closely with Cell Culture Development to deploy established methods that support ongoing cell culture initiatives.Generate and communicate precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner.Organize and document experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook.
