Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie Co-Ops.We are the downstream purification process development team: our mission is to address challenging problems in biologics process development areas by working collaboratively and cross-functionally and developing appropriate tools and technologies to enable right at first pass scale-up and technology transfer of various biologics modalities drug substance processes.Key Responsibilities Include:Executing wet-lab chromatography experiments using AKTA and sample analysis using HPLC.Working with cross-functional teams to integrate different instruments into a closed loop.Writing and debugging Python code for instrument control and data parsing.Applying machine learning for process development and/or optimization. Presenting results through internal and/or external posters, oral presentations or publications.
