Job Description

This is a critical leadership role within AbbVie BTS, serving as Director, BTS Manufacturing Solutions Integration. The position provides strategic and tactical leadership to deliver and support technology strategies that enable Operations M&A activities including mergers, acquisitions, new plant builds, and plant expansions. The role drives transformative business systems strategy and ensures seamless integration and delivery of key business solutions during periods of organizational change and growth.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement strategies for integrating manufacturing technology solutions during plant builds, expansions, and acquisitions. Lead the delivery and seamless integration of global IT and manufacturing systems for new, expanded, and newly acquired manufacturing sites. Lead the development and implementation of large-scale programs, from business case creation through full delivery and support. Facilitate innovative technology solutions for operation transitions, ensuring business continuity and value creation. Act as business partner for Operations, M&A teams, and plant expansion leaders; build and maintain collaborative relationships. Align BTS strategies with overall AbbVie business objectives, focusing on scalable and adaptable systems. Oversee project management for Operations M&A assigned deals, drive issue resolution, and ensure disciplined execution across all phases, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration steps. Financial responsibility of projects up to ~$25MM budgets. Attract, develop, and retain BTS staff, fostering an environment of engagement and growth. Ensure compliance with Corporate and external policies/regulations (e.g., GxP, SOX, HIPAA, ISO). Champion continuous improvement, benchmarking, and adoption of best practices in systems delivery and support.
