The FSS center for EMEA region is based in Krakow, Poland and is serving as a chief accounting and controllership function for all affiliates and manufacturing plants in the region, providing support in US GAAP accounting, tax and statutory compliance and reporting and in selected FP&A and order to cash processes. The center was established in 2013.Job Summary:Manages local statutory accounting and reporting processes for selected entities within EMEA region, supporting audits and tax deliverables.Key Responsibilities:Statutory Filings: Prepare annual financial statements in line with Local GAAP requirements for group legal entities.GAAP Reconciliation: Ensure reconciliation between Local GAAP and US GAAP.Audit Coordination: Manage statutory calendars, working with auditors and departments. Own the process of addressing auditors’ requests.Tax Compliance: Assist with tax provisions and returns.Policy Implementation: Implement accounting policies/standards.Improvement Initiatives: Identify and drive process improvements.
