Based in Milan for our hybrid working model, you'll execute territory sales strategies targeting CTOs, IT Leaders, and end-users in Banking and Insurance. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a robust sales pipeline in assigned territory

  • Partner with Solution Architects (pre-sales) and Professional Services for customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners and channels to maximize deal sizes
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies for prioritization and opportunity closure
  • Participate in sales enablement programs including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp
  • Leverage MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales methodologies for consistent overachievement
  • Articulate business value of MongoDB's database platform for enterprise modernization

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 8+ years quota-carrying experience in fast-paced, competitive enterprise sales environments
  • Strong FSI knowledge (Banking and Insurance) with proven territory management success
  • Consistent sales target overachievement with documented quota attainment history
  • Ability to articulate complex enterprise technology value propositions
  • Expertise building business champions and strategic customer relationships
  • Fluent English required; must reside in Milan area for hybrid model
  • Sales methodology training (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger) highly preferred
  • Familiarity with databases, NoSQL, developer tools a significant advantage
