The Accounting Analyst (National Foodservice Trade) role on PepsiCo's National Foodservice Trade team focuses on accounting for national customers in the Away From Home channel, emphasizing trade liabilities. Based in Purchase, New York, this position ensures financial accuracy while upholding a robust control environment. You'll support key operations like journal entries, reconciliations, audits, and reporting, contributing to PepsiCo's financial integrity in the dynamic foodservice sector.
Prepare and record manual journal entries to maintain precise financials for National Foodservice accounts. Deliver periodic balance sheet commentary with analytics, presenting insights to the Director and Senior Manager for informed decision-making.
Execute reconciliations for customer trade liability accounts, including restaurants, hotels, recreation, convenience, and gas sectors, plus national account customer service and parts (ESM). Provide financial oversight for the EPM Trade payment system.
Handle KPMG and BPC audit requests efficiently. Prepare HFM reporting schedules (Q9) and act as liaison for GBS comp defense operations.
Assist with ad-hoc projects to boost team productivity and efficiencies, while supporting new initiatives that drive PepsiCo's operational excellence.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with MBA or CPA as a plus. Require 3+ years of related experience and proficiency in Excel, SAP, EPM, and Business Objects—or the ability to master new systems quickly. Strong leadership, communication, multi-tasking, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential. Be detail-oriented yet able to grasp the bigger picture. This role is limited to those with indefinite right to work in the United States.
PepsiCo offers a competitive salary range of $69,900 - $117,000, based on location, skills, experience, and education. Eligible for a 5% annual performance bonus.
