Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting Sr Analyst (CFS), you'll play a hands-on role in financial operations. Key duties include:

  • Supporting period-end close for A/R, reserves, and transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyzing and preparing funding requirements for reserves like Deductions, Bad Debt, and Cash Discounts.
  • Creating, reviewing, and recording journal entries for operations and close processes.
  • Reconciling CFS-owned balance sheet accounts with detailed documentation and swift resolution of issues.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with CFS, Control Shared Services, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and IT.
  • Developing forecast schedules for Business Unit P&L activities, including Bad Debt and Post Audit adjustments.
  • Identifying process improvements to boost efficiency in data preparation and analysis.
  • Managing special projects and serving as a subject matter expert for CFS and Control Shared Services.
  • Responding to Corporate and KPMG audit requests with precise documentation.
  • Preparing balance sheet and P&L analytics to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification (required).
  • MBA degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large firm or company (required).
  • Public accounting experience (preferred).
  • S4 HANA experience (preferred).
  • Strong GAAP understanding, system and reporting skills, and Marketplace Investment policies.
  • Team player mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities and partners across Sales, Finance, AR, and Controls.
  • Basic automation tools knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and tracking abilities.
