Job Description

Your Mission As the Associate Director of Anti-Cheat Client Protection, you are responsible for driving the client-side technology that protects Call of Duty. This involves managing and maintaining the current code base as well as identifying and investing in new technologies and services. All this needs to be accomplished with a DevOps mentality to ensure that our systems are always available and operating at a reasonable scale.What you bring to the table The video game industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Managing multiple teams and anti-cheat technologyDriving the vision for anti-cheat in the clientImproving the integration and build processes of this technology into the gameDriving a DevOps methodology across the teamPlayer Profile Minimum requirements:Experience 12+ years of experience in Software Development5+ years of experience in Game Development3+ years of experience as a Director or equivalent leadership role, ideally in game security or anti-cheatDeep understanding/Experience in the Anti-Cheat spaceKnowledge & Skills A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experienceKey Attributes Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with franchise leaders and external partnersExtra Points ExperienceExperience building/reversing cheat softwareKnowledge & SkillsUnderstanding of the Call of Duty Game architecture and cheat environmentDeep understanding/Experience in the Anti-Cheat spaceYour PlatformActivision Central Tech works to support our development studios and their titles.
