Job Description

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Call of Duty Live OpsReporting To: Director, Call of Duty Live OpsDepartment: Call of Duty Finance & StrategyLocation: Santa Monica, CA (Currently Hybrid, 3 days in office/ week)Your MissionActivision is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive the Call of Duty business with a specific focus on in-game live operations across console and PC. This role is centered around projecting and managing the day-to-day performance of our supported titles’ player counts and key monetization systems such as the Battle Pass, Item Shop, and more. This is a dynamic role which will collaborate and be a key partner across our finance & strategy, product management, analytics, and studio organizations.Perform engagement & monetization analysis to identify trends in our player base and in-game store to help inform and shape the product strategy for Call of DutyPartner with the Call of Duty finance leaders to drive Live SeasonsCreate ad-hoc analysis & collaborate with product, commercial, and marketing leadership to inform business decisionsContribute to live Season go-to-market plans and business unit performance updatesSupport forecasting process (annual, in-year, long range) in partnership with other COD franchise finance team membersPlayer ProfileThe key qualifications for the role include:2-4 years of experience, ideally in investment banking, equity research, or revenue management within a similar industryRobust financial modeling, ideally with a history in consumer internet/entertainmentHistory of cross functional work with strong relationship management & collaborationStrong analytical and critical thinking; ability to communicate complex concepts at a high levelAdvanced Excel and PowerPointBachelor’s DegreeInterest in video games or entertainmentOur WorldAt Activision, we strive to build the most iconic brands in gaming and entertainment!   • Create ad-hoc analysis & collaborate with product, commercial, and marketing leadership to inform business decisions
  • Contribute to live Season go-to-market plans and business unit performance updates
  • Support forecasting process (annual, in-year, long range) in partnership with other COD franchise finance team members
