Job Description

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Senior Level Designer to join the development of a new IP. You will improve, develop, and innovate rendering techniques for AAA titles. You will work closely with engineers and artists to bring excitement to life on the screen. As a leader on the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.You’ll help us by…Partnering with the Gameplay Director to set the overall vision and direction for combat, mission, and gameplay design. Take ownership of creating level design principles for the whole game level design – supporting combat encounters, gameplay systems, narrative scenes, world systems and navigation. Work together with other teams on technical solutions, pipelines and tools supporting level design implementation. Take ownership of level design in a gameplay prototype – from ideation to final quality implementation. Support hires, training and mentoring of level designers. Analyze, pitch, prototype, and develop missions and open-world content for an unannounced AAA project Create one-page designs, mission briefs, system outlines, and whatever other communication tools are necessary for succinctly and effectively communicating vision. Leverage technical expertise to implement systems in proprietary tools. Collaborate with multiple disciplines, ensuring partners are involved and informed throughout development.
