Specific Responsibilities: Understand the AMD commercial business goals and requirements, achieve assigned quota for AMD products, especially on REL to support AMD total commercial goals. Manage executive relationships between OEMs, end customers and relative channels channel. To develop short-term and long-term strategy and action plan, maintain relative pipeline and FCST. Work close with AMD BDE team on big deal’s growth. Educate OEMs on AMD technologies and solutions; may be brought in by partners to help sell AMD technology in OEM products.  Interlock with AMD internal team, create and implement sales and marketing programs to grow AMD's business within the REL. Be a strong advocate for the customer internally to AMD, reporting and resolving customer issues. Develop and keep close relationships with key account products, technology, procurement, and various business divisions. Funnel new market opportunities to the AMD design-in and business unit teams. The Person: The Sales manager will ideally have the following experience: Demonstrated success in the High-tech. industry, with commercial sales experience in a sophisticated organization. Demonstrated track record of building cooperative partnerships and alliances, especially commercial REL experience prefer. Proven track record of successfully attracting, developing and leading world-class teams and driving success across a global business. An established background and relationships with IT product distributors, relative OEMs prefer (e.g. Dell, HP, Lenovo). Ability to influence and project-manage global, cross-functional teams. Good communication ability with internal and external team. Ability to travel and be customer facing.
