THE ROLE: We are searching for a senior architect responsible for 200Gbps+ serdes/optical link and circuit architecture with deep understanding and extensive experience of high-speed circuit building blocks (TX/RX Front-end, clocking, ADC/DAC), system/block-level jitter/noise budgeting, analog/digital equalization, clock/data recovery, and power/performance optimization. THE PERSON: The successful candidate will possess: Proven track record of delivering 200Gbps+ electrical serdes and optical interface to production Deep technical knowledge and experience in high-speed link and circuit design/architecture Strong and effective communication skills with teams and customers worldwide Relevant academic background (PhD preferred) and at least 12 years of experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serdes/Optical PHY circuit design/architecture lead, responsible for driving next-generation serdes/optical link Work with domain experts, including digital design & verification, SI/PI, post-Si validation, application, and system/platform teams Provide additional mentorship and contribution to shared methodologies across interface IP and PHY design teams PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proven track record of delivering 200Gbps+ electrical serdes and optical interface to production At least 12 years of relevant experience ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: PhD highly desirable #LI-JG2 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
