Responsibilities: Deeply collaborate with customers to figure out the software specs in demand, help to understand customer’s software technical requirements Work with system architect to locate system spec by software functions and blocks Be responsible for the software implementation cycle to meet aggressive quality and schedule goals, deeply involving in software spec, development and function testing, system validation, bug fixing Cooperate with internal software engineering team for software customization Help to transfer solution deliverables, and assist customer to ramp up and master the solution Qualifications At least BS with 8+ years, or MS with 6+ years of experience in associated software development (like kernel driver, user mode driver, etc...) Deep knowledge of C/C++ programming under Linux environment Strong knowledge of PC architecture, x86 architecture, system memory management, Linux driver for HW accelerator. Engineering experience in SW Linux kernel/DPDK/SPDK/PCIe&Virtio driver/RDMA-Core Experience in following telecom technologies, e.g., RDMA, RoCEV2, 802.3, VLAN, VxLAN, TCP, UDP, IP, QoS is strong plus Good communication and fluent English skill, teamwork and customer-oriented mindsets #LI-FL1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
