Role Overview

The Advisor, Strategic Sourcing Indirect - Mid Shift position is pivotal in supporting Cardinal Health's procurement excellence. This full-time role focuses on developing and executing strategies for indirect goods and services, including IT, MRO, Material Handling Equipment, and Packaging Materials. Based in Bonifacio Global City-Taguig, Philippines, you will perform supplier analysis, negotiate best-value contracts, manage relationships, and ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities

As an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing Indirect, your core duties include:

• Serving as Category Sourcing Lead for assigned indirect categories, driving supplier selection and optimization.
• Managing end-to-end vendor relationships, from selection and performance reviews to elimination as needed.
• Maintaining expertise in contracts to handle extensions, negotiations, and supplier relations effectively.
• Partnering with business stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and deliver tailored indirect sourcing support.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Treasury, FP&A, commercial teams, and legal for contract drafting, NDAs, and finalization.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement, quality, and regulatory procedures while driving internal purchasing discipline.
• Providing operations support to COE, Repair & Maintenance, and Risk Assessment teams.
• Taking initiative in problem-solving, issue resolution, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-4 years of experience in strategic sourcing (indirect or direct), category management, supplier management, and negotiation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with procure-to-pay systems is a plus.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage all organizational levels and external partners.
• Analytical mindset, results-oriented approach, and ability to work in teams while supervising others.
• Experience applying comprehensive knowledge to complex projects, developing innovative solutions, and mentoring colleagues.
