Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Design & Architect: Create scalable, highly available applications and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB for large-scale public sector projects
- Customer Advisory: Guide customers on MongoDB architecture patterns, performance optimization, and flexible document data modeling
- Technical Sales Leadership: Own technical discovery, demos, proof-of-value, presentations, sizing, and documentation throughout sales cycles

The ideal candidate brings deep public sector experience and technical expertise:
- 12+ years customer-facing experience, including 7+ years pre-sales navigating complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- 3+ years hands-on coding with Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or SQL in professional environments
- Distributed systems expertise designing scalable, highly available solutions in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises deployments
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with recent SLED, DoD, or Intelligence Community experience required
- Proven thought leadership through industry conference presentations, published articles, or technical blog posts
- Sales methodology mastery including MEDDPICC and Command of the Message frameworks
- Excellent presentation skills conveying complex NoSQL vs SQL, cloud-native architecture, and business value propositions
