Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director - Contracts & Claims for a Residential Development project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This key role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contracts and claims management for the project, as well overseeing all activity as Project Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful delivery and financial performance of the project.
  • Act as Workbench Project Director, ensuring alignment with client goals and internal standards.
  • Lead project services using Workbench and other relevant systems to ensure effective project control and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, leading engagement across all phases of the project.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to secure additional work from existing clients, contributing to a sustainable pipeline of future projects.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals and negotiation of variations to scope and contracts.
  • Drive project performance to improve profitability and ensure timely cash collection in line with contract terms.
  • Actively monitor and regulate financial performance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Interpret and present benchmark data to clients, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce.
  • Manage resources across large or multiple projects, ensuring delivery within established budgets.
  • Support talent development through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with internal Project Delivery Standards (PDS) and quality assurance requirements.
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to QA protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the company in internal and external networking activities.
  • Enhance the company’s and your professional profile as an industry leader or thought leader by actively participating in sector forums, publications, or speaking engagements.
  • Present project deliverables and insights to clients with clarity and confidence, ensuring alignment with expectations and strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Typically, a minimum of 12 - 15 years post-undergraduate experience.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing complex contract negotiations and claims resolutions
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools

Job Description
