At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for a Associate Director: Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Dublin,Cork or Galway office.

_Here’s what you’ll do:_

_Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:_

As the Associate Director, Mechanical Engineer , you will:

  • Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team across Ireland.
  • Deliver both stand-alone and multi-disciplinary projects with excellence.
  • Mentor and support engineers and technicians to grow their careers and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships , identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing ones.
  • Act as Project Manager on mechanical-led or multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Drive innovation , solving complex engineering challenges with creativity and expertise.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree Qualified – MEng or BEng in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
  • Proven Experience – Strong track record delivering mechanical engineering projects in a consultancy or similar environment.
  • Sector Expertise – Experience across key sectors including healthcare , as well as leisure, commercial, and higher education .
