Job Description

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Bridges & Structures BIM Modeler to join our team in Kraków, Poland, or in Madrid, Spain.

You will be involved in a wide range of infrastructure projects including bridges, viaducts, earth retaining structures, cut and cover tunnels, underground structures, culverts and building structures. This role offers the opportunity to work across all project stages, from concept to preliminary and detailed design.

Our team has a strong track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design across the USA, Australia, Canada and the Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects, collaborating with a diverse and multicultural team. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM Modeler looking to advance their career in structural modeling.

Here's what you'll do:

• Develop Building Information Modelling (BIM) models for the discipline of structures related to transport infrastructures (bridges, viaducts, cut and cover tunnels, buildings, etc), typically from LOD 200 to LOD350.
• Ensure models comply standards and goals set in the BIM Execution plan.
• Create and develop structural BIM content.
• Produce drawings including reinforcement details, structural steel layouts, and more.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment with colleagues across multiple offices.
• Conduct model audits for quality assurance in line with QA/QC procedures.
• Work independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience developing BIM Models and working on drawing production (+3 years) for the discipline of structures associated to transport infrastructures.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit or OpenBridge for modeling and drawing.
• Experienced using common data environments like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or ProjectWise.
• Solid understanding of BIM workflows, standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
• Certificated BIM education or proven experience in BIM projects in the field of civil/structural engineering works.
