Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Senior Field Inspector to support road, highway, bridge, water and sewer projects to join our team in Guam Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate group, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establishes and maintains comprehensive project records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all documentation.
  • Serves as technical expert in field inspections and audits, recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally for complex technical issues.
  • Provides guiding direction for inspections on all assignments, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards across projects.
  • Sets direction and goals for inspection teams, aligning with overall project objectives and organizational strategies.
  • Acts as external spokesperson on technical project issues, representing the company in meetings with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Leads the development and implementation of audit strategies for individual's area of expertise, continuously refining processes for maximum effectiveness.
  • Serves as key point of contact for high-profile engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of safety protocols for all inspection activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising / managing experienced inspectors.
  • 10+ years of inspection experience on roads, highways, water and/or sewer projects
  • USACE and/or NAVFAC QA/QC certification

Additional Information

Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $40 to $60.
