Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Facility Management Specialist to join us at our Panama City office. Facility management is focused upon the efficient and effective delivery of support services for the organizations that it serves - organizational function which integrates people, place and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.

Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities necessary to deliver facilities-related and mission support-related materials, supplies and equipment for customer supported sites.
  • Performs facilities management tasks and operations of the assigned properties.
  • Review of furniture and equipment specifications.
  • Review of furniture layouts.
  • Furniture & equipment installation coordination.
  • Move coordination.
  • Coordinate with vendors for proposals and quotes.
  • Effectively contributes to Facilities Management team goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Architecture or Interior Design + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Fluent Spanish and Advanced English.
  • CFM or FMP certification.
  • Experience in similar positions for mixed-use building projects or programs with over 30,000m2 of total built area.
  • Strong background in project management and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
  • Work well within a fast-paced organization who is a self-starter, process-minded, and collaborative.
  • Understanding of design specs and drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Architecture or Interior Design, with 15+ years of experience or demonstrated professional equivalence, with Specialization, master's, or doctoral degree.
  • Knowledge of furniture design.
