Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an opportunity in our Midtown offices for a Financial Accountant Intern.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Works under direct supervision completing assigned tasks in support of the controllership team.
  • May also support project accounting team.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Project Management, or a similar major with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed three years of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Willing to work on a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
