Job Description

Due to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins, AECOM is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney office.

You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a strong team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, of all levels.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Contributing to desk studies, planning, and delivering ground investigations and preparing associated factual and interpretive reporting
  • Providing a strong competency in ground investigation planning and field work
  • Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals and attending meetings with contractors and clients, both external and internal
  • Facilitating opportunities that build team competency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated competency in scoping, planning, and managing geotechnical investigations
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Sequent and Rocscience specialist software
