Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing contracts for our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects, ensuring compliance, minimizing risks, and maximizing value for our organization.

  • Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of complex contracts for PMC projects
  • Review, analyze, and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and objectives
  • Collaborate with project teams, legal counsel, and stakeholders to address contractual issues and disputes
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes
  • Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions, and deliverables
  • Conduct regular contract audits and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
  • Provide expert advice on contractual matters to project teams and senior leadership
  • Manage a team of contract professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in contract management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on PMC projects
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and FIDIC contracts
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience
  • Professional certifications such as CCM (Certified Contract Manager) or CCCM (Certified Commercial Contract Manager) are highly desirable
  • Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and international contract law
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams
