Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager / Client Account Manager to lead transportation infrastructure programs. Programs include transportation planning, design, and delivery. The position is responsible for managing complex transportation infrastructure projects for federal, state, and/or local agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for transportation clients, providing both technical and managerial oversight.
  • Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and guide project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive business development efforts, including pursuit strategy, proposal development, and client engagement in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Manage contracts and project scopes, including conceptual design, environmental documentation, safety analyses, and public involvement.
  • Oversee roadway geometric design, traffic management plans (TMPs), signal plans, and construction documentation.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and delivery performance

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • 10 years of related experience in transportation project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virgina or Washington, D.C. or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Transportation engineering experience including concept, design, construction and project management
  • Business development and client relationship management.
  • Experienced in leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with public sector clients and infrastructure programs.

Additional Information

  • Relocation is not an option for this position
